Â鶹ÊÓƵ Welcomes Hope Rogers as New Student Success Navigator
Â鶹ÊÓƵ is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Hope Rogers as the new Student Success Navigator. In this multifaceted role, Rogers will work closely with students to develop essential life skills, behaviors, and habits that contribute to their success in college and beyond. By providing personalized support, mentoring, and guidance, she will empower students to enhance their overall well-being and achieve their academic and professional goals.
Hailing from Fairmont, West Virginia, Rogers brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, with double minors in Business and Non-Profit, from Davis & Elkins College, where she graduated in 2024. Rogers is thrilled to engage with the students upon their return to campus, stating, “I get to work with any and all students in any aspect to help navigate them to the right path for each individual student.”
In addition to her role as the Student Success Navigator, Rogers will continue her studies at Â鶹ÊÓƵ in the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program. This commitment to further education showcases her dedication to personal and professional growth, which will undoubtedly benefit the students she serves. Outside of her professional endeavors, Rogers enjoys skiing, pole vaulting, and spending quality time with her family back in West Virginia.
Dr. Mary Earp, Director of Life Skills at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, expressed her enthusiasm for Rogers’ appointment, stating, “The Office of Life Skills welcomes Ms. Hope Rogers as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Student Navigator. She will be assisting with community outreach and campus services for the students. She will work closely with the students to engage them with the resources on campus and within the local area to meet academic, social, and professional needs as they arise. In addition, Hope will be developing activities and events with the department to incorporate the life skill framework throughout the campus.”
