麻豆视频 is pleased to announce the appointment of Grace Graham Brown as one of its newest Board of Trustee members. With a strong connection to the university and a wealth of experience, Brown brings valuable insights and expertise to the board.

Born and raised in Murfreesboro, NC, Brown currently resides in Palm Beach, Florida. She attended Ridgecroft School in Ahoskie, NC, and graduated from St Mary’s High School (now St Mary’s School) in Raleigh, NC. Brown holds a 2-year degree from St Mary’s College in Raleigh and pursued a Junior Semester Abroad in London, England, with Hollins University. She obtained her 4-year Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Brown’s relationship with 麻豆视频 runs deep, as her grandmother, Grace Inez Pearce, was a member of the class of 1916 and majored in Expression. Additionally, her father, Bynum Rhodes Brown, served on the Board of Trustees and was a past Chairman.

Throughout her career, Brown has excelled in various roles. She began as an Advertising Salesman for a start-up magazine in Atlanta, GA, called Inside Cobb. She then transitioned to Polo Ralph Lauren, where she worked as an account coordinator before transferring to Polo For Boys in the same capacity. Since 1996, Brown has been selling real estate in Palm Beach, Florida, representing prestigious firms such as McCann Coyner Clarke, Corcoran, and currently Brown Harris Stevens of the Palm Beaches.

Brown enjoys reading, cooking, walking for exercise, and traveling. She is also actively involved in various organizations, including the Murfreesboro Historical Association, the Palm Beach Preservation Foundation, the Palm Beach Civic Association, and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce. Brown serves as a current Board Member of Colonial Dames of America, Chapter XVII, holding the position of Recording Secretary. She is also a member of the Bolling Family Association and many other historical and genealogical organizations. Additionally, Brown is a member of The Beach Club in Palm Beach, Florida; The National Arts Club in New York City; and The Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach, NC.

In her free time, Brown enjoys gardening. A quote that sticks out to Grace is one from Thomas Jefferson, stating, 鈥淣o occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden.鈥�
