MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men’s Basketball team has earned a spot in the D2SIDA Southeast Region Poll, entering at #7 in the latest rankings released by the D2SIDA on Monday afternoon.

Joining the Hawks in the poll is UNC Pembroke at #6 as they have a 1-3 start to their season. The Hawks, who are currently 2-0 on the season, will look to build on their strong start as they face Virginia State in Petersburg, Va. on Wednesday, November 13th.

The top six spots are held by North Georgia, USC Aiken, Carson-Newman, Lincoln Memorial, Catawba, and UNC Pembroke, with Chowan, Coker, Flagler, and Columbus State rounding out the rankings.
