7th Annual CA Photography Competition Award Winners Announced
On February 12, 2021, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Assistant Professor of Graphic Communications, Jennifer Groves Newton, announced the 7th Annual CA Photography Competition Award Winners. The competition took place virtually through social media where Chowan friends and family could vote for their favorite photos on the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Facebook page. The accolades were distributed as follows: first place awarded to Skadi Kylander’s Green Frog on a Lichened Log, second place and the viewer’s choice award given to Logan Jeffrey’s Outer Banks, third place awarded to Kyra Cauthen’s Beautiful Downpour, and the Provost’s Choice Award was presented to Mauquann Squire’s piece entitled Street Photo.
