Beth Walker Named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) released the Softball Weekly Awards for Week Five.
Beth Walker picked up CIAA Defensive Player of the Week as the team competed at the CIAA Round-Up in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Walker, a sophomore from Pasadena, Md., recorded a perfect fielding percentage during the seven contests posting 37 putouts, four assists, and contributed to three double-plays.
This is the first CIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors for Beth Walker this season.
