Baker and Lucci Named USCA All-Southeast Region
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A pair of Chowan Soccer players were named to the 2017 Division II United Soccer Coaches Association All-Southeast Region team, the Association announced on Wednesday.
Representing Chowan on the list is of the Women's Soccer Program and representing the Men's Soccer Program.
Carolina Lucci continues to add to the list of first for the program as the freshman was named All-Southeast Region First Team selection. The Monaca, Pa. native scored 19 goals and added four assists in her first season with the Blue and White. Lucci was named Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year, and Conference Carolinas First Team All-Conference.
Josh Baker garners his first All-Southeast Region Second Team selection in his sophomore campaign. The Winterton, England native finished the season second on the team in points and goals. Baker scored six goals and two assists for 14 points. Baker adds a Second Team selection to his Conference Carolinas Third Team honors.
