Robins and Parson Named D2CCA Softball All-Region
MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association released on Monday, May 15 All-Atlantic Regional selections withand getting an All-Regional nods.
was named to the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team after a career senior season. The senior pitcher picked up CIAA Pitcher of the Year, CIAA First-Team, and NFCA All-Region honors.
Robins finished her three-year career with Chowan posting a 53-20 record with a 1.74 ERA in 471.1 innings. The Mathews County, Va. native struck out 680 batters including 367 punch outs this season.
was named to the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team pacing the team with a .349 batting average as a freshman. Parson picked up CIAA Rookie of the Year and CIAA Rookie Team honors.
During the season, Parson led the team with doubles (12), home runs (11), RBI (54), along with her .349 batting average.
