Kayla Robins earns NFCA All-Region Honors
LOUISVILLE, KY. –The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has announced the 2017 NFCA Division II All-Region teams. This year's squads are comprised of 210 student-athletes from 116 programs.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2017 NFCA Division II All-American squads.
Senior, , earned NFCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team Honors. Robins currently sits with a 24-8 overall record in the circle with a 0.94 ERA and 16 shutouts. Robins has pitched 201.1 innings with 352 strikeouts and only 41 walks.
Robins and the Hawks open up NCAA Atlantic Region II play on Thursday, May 11.
