 |  MURFREESBORO, NC – The Â鶹ÊÓƵ baseball team picked up two wins on Saturday afternoon against Salem International University. Chowan pounded out 20 hits as a team to take game one 14-6. They won game two with a final score of 6-2 to run their overall record to 23-21.

Chowan collected three home runs and seven doubles in game one with five players garnering multiple hit games.  tallied four hits in five at-bats and scored three runs while  and  collected three hits each. Marvin Harrell, Jr., , and  each collected two hits.  pitched the win after throwing the first three innings. He gave up three runs on six hits.  and  each pitched in relief of Moore. 

Chowan took game two with a final score of 6-2. The team pounded out nine hits, led by Marquise Lanier who went 2-2.  picked up his fifth win of the season after throwing four innings and striking out four Tiger batters.  pitched one inning in relief.
