Chowan Athletics Set To Host Action Packed Weekend
MURFREESBORO, NC – The Â鶹ÊÓƵ athletic department is set to host an action packed weekend that features six of their seven spring sports program playing home games.
On Saturday, the Chowan tennis programs will host Tiffin University at the Rose Family Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 10:00am for both the men's and women's programs.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ softball team will host Salem International in a doubleheader. With impending weather, the games have been moved from a 1:00pm start time to an 11:00am start time. The CU baseball team will host Lock Haven University in a four game series set to start Saturday. Saturday's doubleheader will start at 11:30am at Hawkins Field. The 1:00pm original start time has changed to accommodate for impending inclement weather. Sunday's doubleheader will start at 12:00pm at Hawkins Field.
The Chowan University women's lacrosse team will host Alderson Broaddus University in a 12:00pm match. Live coverage will be available for Saturday's match.
