Women’s Basketball Celebrates WBCA Day of Service

AHOSKIE, NC- The Â鶹ÊÓƵ women's basketball team celebrated the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Day of Service by spending time at Bearfield Primary School on September 28th.
The Hawks spent the morning reading to the students at Bearfield. The Chowan women's basketball team also discussed the importance of pursing educational opportunities and making positive choices.
The WBCA Day of service initiative aims to encourage women's basketball programs across the nation to give back to their community. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ women's basketball team participates in various community service and community engagement projects over the course of the year.
