RICHMOND, VA  – The Â鶹ÊÓƵ women's cross country team competed in the Virginia Union University Invitational at Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia on Friday evening.  The Hawks finished third place out of the four teams that competed in the 5k race with a total of 25 runners. The Hawks finished with a team score of 76.
 
 led the Hawks crossing the finish line with a personal best of 21:20.4. Tackett finished in fourth place overall, followed by  who finished in 15th place at the 25:05.2 mark. Kaila Hardin crossed the finish line in 26:48.8 and right behind Hardin,  completed the 5k in 26:57.8.   also competed in the race and crossed the finish line at the 27:11.9 mark rounding out the scoring for the Blue and White.
 
The host team, Virginia Union, finished in first place with 22 points.  Finishing in first place individually was Imani Jackson who led the Panthers with a time of 21:05.3. The individuals placing second, third and fifth place were also from Virginia Union.
