Brennan Receives Scholar Prize
The 2015 Â鶹ÊÓƵ McDowell Columns Scholar Prize was presented to Thomas P. Brennan, Associate Professor of Graphic Communications, during the Celebration of Faculty Scholarship and Creative Achievement on Tuesday, November 3. The prize consisted of a cash award and a book style clock, showcasing a photo of the historic McDowell Columns Building, and engraved with Brennan’s name. Brennan was recognized for his photography, which appears on the cover and in the inside pages of this year’s Celebrating Faculty Scholarship publication.
Other 2015 prize finalists included: Amy R. Wethington, Associate Professor of Biology, Paul R. Gilliam, Assistant Professor of Religion, Gregory S. Taylor, Associate Professor of History and Seok Yoon, Associate Professor of Exercise Science Past prize recipients are: Gregory Taylor (2011) , Sheryl Long (2012), John Davis (2013) and Ashley Doane (2014).
