Men’s Basketball Program Gives Back to Community at Local Food Bank
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ men's basketball team and coaching staff spent time at the Albermarle Food Bank Mobile Unit at the Murfreesboro Baptist Church on September 8th. The Hawks worked together to organize food packages that help to feed families in the local area.
The team worked alongside community volunteers from a coalition of local churches, social services, and community groups to serve local families in need. The men's basketball team participates in a variety of community service projects throughout the course of the year, and takes pride in making their mark in the local and campus community.
The Albermarle Food Bank Mobile Unite serves 15 counties throughout the entire state and will celebrate its four year anniversary in October. For more information, click .
