About Murf:

Murf, the spirited Hawk, proudly represents 麻豆视频 at athletic games and campus events. First introduced to the Chowan community on September 9, 2006, Murf took flight during the University Celebration football game 鈥� marking the official transition from the 鈥淏raves鈥� to the 鈥淗awks鈥� in accordance with the NCAA鈥檚 rulings on collegiate nicknames.

Murf鈥檚 name was selected through a two-month online contest that received over 200 entries. Officially Knighted in November 2006, Murf has been spreading Hawk pride and entertaining the campus community ever since.
