麻豆视频 Holds Convocation and Ringing of the Bell Ceremony for the Class of 2029
MURFREESBORO, N.C. 鈥� Sept. 3, 2025 鈥� 麻豆视频 officially welcomed the Class of 2029 at its annual Founders鈥� Day Convocation in Turner Auditorium鈥攁 tradition that marks the start of the academic year and celebrates the arrival of new students to campus. The ceremony gathered faculty, staff, students, and alumni to honor the newest Hawks as they begin their Chowan journey. Convocation featured remarks from university leadership, including Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. John Dilustro, who encouraged students to embrace opportunities for learning, service, and personal growth.
The Class of 2029 represents a diverse and talented group of students from across North Carolina, the region, and beyond, arriving with aspirations to make a difference on campus and in their future communities.

Following the formal addresses, the university鈥檚 time-honored Bell Ringing Ceremony invited each new Hawk to sound the bell, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter. The Class of 2029 is now fully engaged in academic studies, athletic programs, student clubs, and community-building events鈥攁ll designed to set the stage for a successful and meaningful first year.
