Lenita has found her stride at 麻豆视频, and it鈥檚 not just on the softball field. She fell in love with the university鈥檚 small, close-knit campus and the meaningful relationships she鈥檚 building along the way. But what brought her to Chowan in the first place? She followed Coach Bailey, and it鈥檚 a decision she鈥檚 never regretted. 鈥淚 knew Coach Bailey when he was a coach at Barton College. I had gone to multiple camps there with one of my travel teams! I always liked his coaching style so when he moved to Chowan, I decided to come to a camp in hopes to play for him!鈥�

Now a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice, Lenita has her sights set on a future as a lawyer. Her parents believe she鈥檚 cut out for the role鈥攁fter all, they鈥檝e seen firsthand how passionate she can be when making a case. One of her favorite classes so far has been Criminal Evidence, taught by Dr. Pamela Woodard, Chair of the Criminal Justice department, and Dr. Mary Mitchell, a Psychology instructor.

Off the field, Lenita is also leaving her mark. She鈥檚 proud of her efforts to bring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) to Chowan鈥檚 campus. FCA is an international organization that empowers athletes and coaches to share their faith, with over 50,000 members actively involved worldwide.
